Set Your Timer
Set the exam duration to match your paper:
- Paper 1 (MCQ): 45 minutes
- Paper 2 (Theory): 1 hour 15 minutes
- Paper 4 (Extended): 1 hour 15 minutes
Open the Answer Sheet
Click "Start Viewing", then click the "Answers" button in the top toolbar. The answer sheet panel will appear on the right side of your screen.

Set the number of questions (e.g., 40 for most MCQ papers) and choose your answer type:
Record Your Answers
Work through the paper and record your answers. For MCQ, click A, B, C, or D for each question. Your answers auto-save to your browser - if you accidentally close the page, they'll still be there.
Self-Mark Your Answers (Manual Marking)
When finished, click "Check Answers". Your answer sheet transforms into a marking interface. Note: Marking is manual, not automatic โ you compare each answer with the mark scheme yourself and decide if it's correct. This active review helps you learn better than auto-grading.

Exam Hub works with any PDF file, so it supports all exam boards including Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge A-Level, Edexcel, AQA, OCR, IB Diploma, AP exams, and more. Simply upload your question paper and mark scheme PDFs.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Your PDF files never leave your device. They are stored only in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB). This protects your privacy and respects copyright. Clearing your browser data will remove saved files.
How do I use the answer sheet feature?
After uploading your question paper, click "Start Viewing" then click the "Answers" button. Choose MCQ mode (for multiple choice) or Written mode (for text answers), select the number of questions, and click "Go". Your answers auto-save and you can download them as an HTML file.
Can I use Exam Hub on mobile or tablet?
