1CH0 Paper Components
Edexcel GCSE Chemistry (1CH0) consists of 4 papers per tier: 1CH0 Paper 1F (Paper 1 Foundation), 1CH0 Paper 2F (Paper 2 Foundation), 1CH0 Paper 1H (Paper 1 Higher), 1CH0 Paper 2H (Paper 2 Higher). Each tier (Foundation and Higher) has separate papers targeting different grade ranges.

Topics 6-9: Chemical reactions, Electrolysis, Energy changes, Rates of reaction, Organic chemistry, Analysis. 1 hour 45 minutes, 60 marks (50%).
1CH0 Tip: Balance chemical equations carefully and memorize key reaction types. Higher tier includes more complex stoichiometry.
