About the June 2021 4BI1 session
Edexcel IGCSE Biology 4BI1 consists of two papers: Paper 1 (4BI1/1B — 2 hours, 110 marks) and Paper 2 (4BI1/2B — 1 hour 15 minutes, 70 marks). Both papers can test any part of the specification — the variety of living organisms, structure and function, reproduction and inheritance, ecology, and the use of biological resources. The spec is linear, so all candidates sit both.
